20 January 2026 – Sarawak Rivers Board (SRB) held a discussion session with Grab (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. on the proposed Proof of Concept (POC) Grab Perahu Penambang initiative.

The session was chaired by Lt. Col. Ding Tiew Wong (Bersara), Controller of SRB, to further deliberate on the proposal presented by Grab (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

The discussion was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Transport Sarawak (MOTS), Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara (DBKU), Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB), Grab (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., and Sarawak Rivers Board (SRB).
